The documentary created by Ricki Lake , "The Business of Being Born" highlights the need for Natural Living and Birth Solutions. Changing a multi million dollar business back into the natural birth process where the mother and midwife are in control of the birth process. Where the mother and child are the focus, not seen as a number being pushed through a waiting room to get as many people through as possible.

Midwifery allowing the lessening of intervention when it's not needed. Only using medical intervention where it is absolutely medically necessary. Meaning that mother and baby are intfered with less and allowed to bond sooner. Bringing about a relaxed harmonious birth and postnatal process.
